Short and sweet – Mike Hicks stepped up to the plate and literally got my book on Kindle. There were so many issues it would make a month long story longer, but he came through. He knows his way around the dtp. I have not ‘read’ the book yet, but I own it for future excursions into the Kindle world. Yes, I am hoping I learned enough by getting lost and waylaid the first time around in the Kindle procedures and lack thereof. But I am a realist. So I own the book. And I thank Mr. Hicks for his generous effort to save my sanity after a month of horrendous efforts of my own.
He knows his stuff. This publication is worth its weight in digital space.

During my own efforts to publish my two books on Kindle, Mike was the one person I could always depend on to know the ins and outs and who demonstrated a willingness to share his experience with anyone who needed aid. I know that there are a host of others who would say the same.
Thanks Mike

I have started using the book and have found parts of it to be very helpful. I find it easy to follow the terms and directions contained in the book. I learned that you can “jump” from one part of the book to another if you have a single problem or two that you are dealing with and resolve them quickly through the content or examples.
I recommend the book to any who are interested in publishing in the manner that to me is the future of the publishing business. Twenty years of less from now your local book store will carry and provide the ability to check out a book and then by plugging in download it.
And this book can help you get in near the ground floor.

It’s because Mike understands two things in life – write what you know and help others get what they need. He was on Kindle walking people through the set-up agony. Not enough on-site techs on staff, but Mike was there as a trouble-shooter. He was also learning what the fine tuning problems were in setting your book on Kindle. That is why this book is so thorough. I was ready to hang myself. Thanks Mike. See your Listmania on my profile page. Really. Only one book on the list.

Apparently this author tried to be informative BUT the Amazon Kindle program is so primitive regarding getting authors’ works up and running correctly that this poor book just can’t seem to catch up with how to deal with all the Kindle problems.
