The Prodigy jacket for the Kindle 2 is a very nice addition to my Kindle. It protects the reader very well. The little tab to hold it closed can be tucked behind the Kindle when using and after continued use the cover can be folded back easily for more compact use. Add the M-Edge e-Luminator2 booklight, which is compact and light and fits right in to the cover, and you have a reader that can be used in any lighting conditions.

This is a really excellent product and a lovely addition to the Kindle which it encloses beautifully. The product is very stylish and arrived extremely quickly. I also purchased the book light which is a little quirky but integrates well with the case. Very nice combo.

I really like the M-Edge Prodigy leather Kindle cover that I purchased for my Kindle book reader. It is very sturdy and looks good. I think it looks alot better than the Kindle cover that was originally made for the Kindle (not from M-Edge but about half the price). It has clips that hold the left side of the Kindle in place and elastic tabs on the right side. However, I do wish the elastic tabs were bigger and covered it more so they wouldn't slide off every now and then. It has a pocket on the inside for storage and has a pocket to slide the M-Edge e-Luminator 2 booklight into so you don't have to clip a booklight on the cover. This also allows the booklight to close up nicely inside the cover. If I were purchasing another one - I definitely would buy this one again.

M-Edge makes nice products for the Kindle! This one was particularly anticipated after I had purchased a similar cover for my Kindle 1. Nice padded leather, with a good microfibre interior. It's a bit stiff, particularly if you want to read with the cover bent back, but it's been loosening up nicely with use.

My kindle was a gift and it came with the cover offered by Amazon. I thought I would like something that was a bit more secure, so I bought this one. It arrived last night...and will be on it's way back later today. There are several things wrong with it. 1) It is very bulky. Quadruples the thickness of your kindle, so slipping it in to the side pocket on my briefcase would no longer be possible. 2) Even though the picture on the website shows this, there is no way you can fold the cover back and hold it one handed like you can with the Amazon cover. Furthermore, I doubt it ever would, even after breaking it in 3) That light that is supposed to fit in the pocket behind the kindle? It doesn't. I suppose it might get easier over time, but, for now, getting that plastic tab into the pocket takes considerable force. So much so, I expected it to snap. Also, it has to be removed to adjust it from 'use' position to 'store' position. The illustration seem to suggest you just fold it down. Wrong. you remove it, fold it, replace it. And removing it is no picnic either. Lastly) the placement of the metal tabs is wrong. Once the lower 'hook' tab is inserted, the sliding one does not line up with the slot on the kindle. Took me 10 minutes to get it attached (Amazon cover took 5 seconds, first time) and when I did, it was very very very tight. Stress cracking was inevitable, so I removed it. There are now some fresh gouge marks around the upper slot.

The only thing good I can say about this is that it does look nice.
